Across in the Philippines, The MassKara Festival takes place in Bacolod City , “the Sugarbowl capital of the Philippines” as cane is king! The Bacoleños people enjoy a colourful carnival of masked dancers, beauty pageants, food festivals, musical and sports events, brass band competitions as well as agricultural trade fairs, garden shows and street dance competitions.
