Australia’s Tom Tom Club burst onto the scene on Friday with its incredible and energetic mix of amazing acrobatic stunts, astonishing drumstick feats, DJ sound effects and humour. They are on at the Underbelly at the Brighton Festival Fringe. Not to be missed!
Down at the Brighton Media Centre Gallery, Jane Butler Biggs is exhibiting her “Colour of Brazil” collection. An excellent set of paintings which are on display each day until the 8th of May. Below is a video preview of these wonderful creations. Definitely worth a visit.
The Brighton Festival Fringe Launch Party took place last Thursday evening, at the Arc beach-front night club. What a wild night it was and the weather too, which was more like Aberdeen than Brighton. Captured on the video are: The Bellydance Diaries, Afterspark, The Royal Mugs and Patti Plinko and her Boy. There were other performances, some were canceled because of the weather and the rest I managed to foul up their recording - apologies to those artists.
Operations Manager, Holly Payton announced that this was her 7th and sadly her last Fringe. She will soon be announcing what her next venture will be.
Patti and her Boy are just addictive to listen to. Our kids are going around humming the tunes!
Lots to look forward to in May…
