Edinburgh Festival Fringe - Harley Breen: Son of a preacher man

Tuesday, August 7th, 2007

Nothing is sacred growing up in the Bible belt of Australia. Harley Breen uses his talent for storytelling with his high energy style of comedy, to tell the story of growing up as the ’son of a preacher man’.  Apologies for the abrupt start and end of the clip, conditions in the auditorium were not ideal for filming.

Edinburgh Festival Fringe - Hannah Gadsby is Wrong & Broken

Sunday, August 5th, 2007

The programme says: “When Hannah was seven she stole her brother’s imaginary friend and wrote a book chronicling a dark and traumatic life for her stolen friend. That book turned out to be a blue print for her own journey to adulthood. Can Hannah defeat the dragon? Probably not..” In case that doesn’t help, a clue is that Hannah is a stand up comedian and she’s on at the Gilded balloon.

Apologies for the state of the video, some clown sitting in front of the camera took a whole tray of wine glasses from the waitress and then proceed to spill them over everyone around and in front of him. This resulted in a parade of angry people dressed in 2 tone (red & white wine) shirts/blouses heading for the exit. Waitress service and auditoria don’t mix well!
