The Edinburgh Fringe programme was officially launched yesterday at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.  The Fringe is bigger and better with another set of mind blowing statistics.  The star of yesterday’s launch was the stunning artwork of Johanna Basford which adorns the new programme and the new Edfringe.com website.

The clock is now (officially) ticking for this year’s Edinburgh Fringe…

As twilight looms, the boomer generation of  Oxfam has undergone a very youthful makeover.  Founded in 1942, the international development charity has matured and is now a steadfast British institution with an army of traditional supporters.

OxjamNothing like a festival to bring back those halcyon days of youth when fun was the byword of life.  All credit to Cathy Ferrier as marketing director of Oxfam to pioneer Oxjam!  Since its launch in 2006, 36,000 musicians have played at almost 3,000 events around the country raising millions for the charity and a new army of volunteers to boost its coffers.

Superb blue sky thinking in the blue skies of summer!
