20th Century Gay Composers: The Romantic Reaction

This concert provides us with the opportunity to explore our own gay cultural heritage through the performance of some of the most moving and powerful choral music ever written. To allow the exploration of this theme, all ticket holders are invited to attend a pre-performance discussion starting at 18:00 hrs with our Musical Director.The highlight of the evening will be Poulenc's Gloria which will be accompanied by both a guest orchestra and sporano Elisabeth Wingfield. We are also performing works by Barber, bernstein, Britten, Copland and Tippett.
