'War! Hotel? Help!' Locked away, three women must choose five words to help them escape. With freedom so close, will they survive, or will their past resurface, and imprison them forever? After Circles is the Edinburgh festival debut of Miscellany Theatre Productions. After Circles is written by 26 year old award winning Irish playwright, and Royal Court Young Writer, Henry Martin and directed by Theatre Royal Stratford East, Resident Assistant Director, Antonio Ferrara. After Circles depicts the causes and results of war, and violence, on everyday people, offering a humane window into what is considered an alien environment. With a strong female-lead cast After Circles explores complex human relationships and the pressing humanitarian issues of our times including Child Soldiers, the Treatment of Women in War, and the politics of violence. After Circles presents challenges to pre-conceived notions of war and it's impact on both women and men.
