David Ingledew & Eliza Wyatt (Award winning playwright) are pleased to present their new musical play - Alice’s World - based on Lewis Carroll’s most endearing fantasy.
This exciting new family musical introduces the newly formed Looking Glass Orchestra and an enthusiastic & and seasoned cast including Mark Green (Mad Hatter), Leanne McKenzie (White Rabbit), Annabel Johnson (Alice), Jack Humphrey (Dormouse), who will be joined by dancers from one of Brighton’s prize winning dance troupe, Liber8.
To be staged in the centre of Brighton at The Brighton Unitarian Church, the show includes poetry from the book, original songs and an insight into Alice’s journey as she leaves the garden in search of adventure!
Alice’s World! builds on David Ingledew’s hit show at a previous Brighton Festival Fringe, Beatles Brighton & Beyond, a tribute to the two gigs performed by the Beatles at The Brighton Hippodrome in 1964. Eliza Wyatt was awarded best playwright by Fringe Report at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe…
The show, which will be performed on every Sunday during May, includes a FREE raffle for all ticket holders to win a lovely UPRIGHT PIANO delivered by Alice and her friends who will sing and perform at the winner’s home!
