James Dowdeswell is a real master of the comedian’s craft. It’s a genuine pleasure to be in the company of this master gag-smith for an hour.” Chortle, UK

James is a storytelling comedian who has performed his stand-up all around the world from Shanghai to Dubai. This is his sixth full-length show. Direct from Melbourne Comedy Festival.

Intelligent and inventive” The List, UK

Dowdeswell has made various TV appearances including Extras (BBC), Edinburgh And Beyond and The World Stands Up (Paramount Comedy Channel)

This all seems a far cry from back in 2000, when a fresh-faced young James won the Jongleurs New Act Award and supported Phil Kay on a national tour.
