JAMES CARR & THE ENGINES are a new Edinburgh-based four-piece blues featuring the driving blues guitar of Richard Price, the soulful singing of James Carr (which has been likened to such esteemed company as Van Morrison, JJ Cale and Boz Scaggs), and the rhythm kings - Miles Bailie on drums and Danny McKellar on bass. Special guest is the multi-talented Matt Holborn (ex Blue Hyenas / Ubiquitous Kings of Rhythm) on guitar, fiddle and vocals.
