Let’s face the music and dance! A night of swinging cabaret, music and dancing featuring Cuckoo Savante - like “Tom Waits banging Nick Cave across Nina Simone’s piano.” Lead singer Jaime Nanci has an incredible vocal range, covering jazz classics to “punk lounge.”


Discover the glamour and charm of the coolest joint in town. Let the recession take a back seat to the rhythm and beat. Inspired by the Jazz Era, a decadent night with zany and stylish interludes from Bella a Go Go, the Vaudeville Vamps, the Hep Cats, Norma Jean Munroe plus guests. And watch out for Mystic Mug: Magda Mugget and Dorothy Darker ....telling your fortune or just nosey parkers!

What is the event?

- A glamorous and sophisticated night celebrating the Jazz Era.

- Live band “Cuckoo Savante” playing great music. Their sound has been described as “Tom Waits banging Nick Cave across Nina Simone’s piano.”   Lead singer Jaime Nanci has an incredible vocal range, covering jazz classics and “punk lounge.”

- Cabaret evoking the best of Vaudeville – jazz dancers, Lindy Hop (swing/jitterbug) dancers, Charleston girls, performance poetry, signers, “soft” burlesque and more.

- Cabaret performers include – Bella a Go Go (Dublin), Vaudeville Vamps (Galway), The Hep Cat Strutters (Dublin), Dorothy Darker (Dublin), Norma Jean Munroe (Dublin), The Evil Ex's (Dublin), Azaria Starfire & Tom Riddle (Dublin), The Adorabelles.

- The audience tend to get dressed up (retro, vintage or glamour) and join in the fun.
