Two nights of re enactment and a celebration of the sitting room.
Janina Monisnka will read the story 51 King St by Nicholas Gallie. The audience will be invited to drink as much as they can during the reading and participate in the re enactment of the events that purportedly took place in a Glasgow sitting room in the 60’s. The evening provides an opportunity to consider through practical means an alternative account of the origins of post modernism and its narrative of the sitting room. Ellakajsa Nordstrom will show her Video work Living Room. Kate O’Donnell is showing a series of cushions commissioned for this Salon event. This event is not suitable for children.
