Set in Latin America, ‘Weak Edward’ tells the story of a spoiled gay dictator who tries to be a king, but is thwarted by his strange habits that do not match with the prototypical idea of a masculine, strong and Latino leader. Eduardo loves his 'dearest' friend Gustavo, more than his wife or his country and he had to pay the social cost of his gay affair. 'A glorious anachronism' (says The Stage) in the form of an 'innovative' tragicomedy, coming straight after a successful run at the historic Rose Theatre Bankside London.
